La Supreme x Nike Air Max 96 “Silver” è una collaborazione della primavera 2021 tra il marchio di streetwear “World Famous” e Nike sulla scarpa da corsa retrò del 1996. La versione originale relativamente oscura dell’Air Max 96 era inserita tra due tentacoli Nike Modelli Air Max: Air Max 95 e Air Max 97, il che potrebbe spiegare il suo status di dormita nel mondo delle sneaker. È stata in gran parte assente dalle versioni retrò degli ultimi anni, fatta eccezione per la scoperta della scarpa da parte di Supreme per la sua collezione Primavera/Estate 2021. In tipico stile Supreme, il marchio ha modificato il suo design in modo audace con pannelli traslucidi sul profilo laterale. Il nuovo look sostituisce i pannelli in mesh presenti sull’Air Max 96 originale. Ad eccezione del colletto e degli occhielli, il resto della tomaia è rifinito in pelle argento metallizzato. Uno Swoosh rosso ricamato appare sul tallone laterale. Il marchio supremo si trova sotto lo Swoosh rosso ricamato sulla parte superiore della linguetta e attorno ai bordi della linguetta. Una placca con logo Supreme argentata risiede sul tallone. Unità Air visibili nel tallone e nell’avampiede dell’intersuola simili a quelle dell’Air Max 95 completano il design.   • descrizione: The Supreme x Nike Air Max 96 “Silver” is a Spring 2021 collaboration between the “World Famous” streetwear marca and Nike on the retro running shoe from 1996. The relatively obscure Air Max 96’s original release was sandwiched between two tentpole Nike Air Max models: the Air Max 95 and Air Max 97, which could explain its slept-on status in the sneaker world. It has been largely absent from retro releases in recent years, save for Supreme’s unearthing of the shoe for its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. In typical Supreme fashion, the marca modified its design in bold fashion with translucent panels to its side profile. The new look replaces the mesh panels that were on the original Air Max 96. Save for the collar and eyelets, the rest of the upper is finished off in metallic silver leather. A red embroidered Swoosh appears on the lateral heel. Supreme marcaing can be found beneath the red embroidered Swoosh on the top of the tongue and around the edges of the tongue. A silver Supreme logo plate resides on the heel. Visible Air units in the heel and forefoot of the midsole similar to those of the Air Max 95 complete the design. Data di rilascio: May 6, 2021.
