La Supreme x Nike Air Max 96 “Camo” è una delle colorazioni della scarpa da corsa retrò disegnata dal marchio di streetwear con sede a New York nel 2021. Mentre le contemporanee come Nike Air Max 1 e Air Max 90 sono tra le più modelli facilmente disponibili offerti da Nike, l’Air Max 96 è oscuro. Alcuni sostengono che questo sia proprio il motivo per cui Supreme ha scelto il modello per la sua collezione Primavera/Estate 2021. Il marchio streetwear modifica il design con pannelli traslucidi sul profilo laterale. Il nuovo look sostituisce i pannelli in mesh a forma di “dente” presenti sull’Air Max 96 originale. La tomaia è realizzata in pelle con dettagli in mesh attorno al colletto e agli occhielli, il tutto con una stampa mimetica verde. Uno Swoosh ricamato appare sul tallone laterale. Il marchio Supreme si trova sotto lo Swoosh ricamato sulla parte superiore della linguetta e attorno ai bordi della linguetta. Sul retro della scarpa si trova il logo riflettente della scatola Supreme in argento. Le unità Air visibili dell’Air Max 96 nell’intersuola ricordano il design dell’Air Max 95 con Air visibile nel tallone e nell’avampiede.

While contemporaries like the Nike Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 are among the most readily available models offered by Nike, the Air Max 96 is obscure. Some would argue that’s the very reason why Supreme chose the model for its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The streetwear marca modifies the design with translucent panels to its side profile. The new look replaces the \”tooth\”-like mesh panels that were on the original Air Max 96. The upper is constructed in leather with mesh detailing around the collar and eyelets, all with a green camo print. An embroidered Swoosh appears on the lateral heel. Supreme marcaing can be found beneath the embroidered Swoosh on the top of the tongue and around the edges of the tongue. A reflective silver Supreme box logo is located on the back of the shoe. The Air Max 96’s visible Air units in the midsole are reminiscent of the design of the Air Max 95 with visible Air in the heel and forefoot.
